‘A former spy has described how a surveillance operation against loyalist terrorists in Northern Ireland uncovered a paedophile ring with links to Westminster.
The ex-intelligence officer said MI6 was ordered to watch the Kincora care home in Belfast in the 1970s because one of its housemasters, William McGrath, was the leader of paramilitary group Tara.
Spies witnessed terror-related arms deals but also found evidence of an international paedophile gang trafficking victims to Brighton, London, Amsterdam and Vienna.’April 12, 2015 at 5:53 pm #20452
Video from the dashboard camera of a Cottonwood Police Department cruiser showed a close-knit Idaho family that appeared nearly invulnerable to stun guns, police batons and fists during a melee in a Walmart parking lot March 21 in which one person was killed and one officer wounded by a gunshot.
Four officers arrived at the Walmart after employees called about one of the Boise, ID, family members pushing an employee to the ground outside one of the store’s bathrooms.
The family had gathered outside their older model Chevrolet Suburban when officers arrived. The confrontation started when one of the officers said they would split up the family to talk with them about what happened inside the store, Fanning said.
The family utilized tactics that had to be “taught,” Fanning said. For instance, they knew that punching officers on the body was futile because of their protective vests. Instead, the fought officers by grabbing at their eyes, ears and mouths and pulling hard.
They also had been taught to roll after they were shot with stun guns in order to break the wires and stop the shock, and to appear to give up by putting their hands in the air in order to get close to attack again. The family refused orders to “get on the ground” and eventually overpowered Daniels. Two of the suspects, including Enoch Graver, battled the officer for his gun, which went off and wounded him in the leg.
Four more officers arrived and Enoch Graver, 21, was shot to death and his 18-year-old brother David Graver was shot in the abdomen.
Even with eight officers on the scene, nothing the officers tried appeared to stop the family, including the use of stun guns, pepper spray and police batons. In almost every instance, the suspects continued to fight the officers. Fanning said to four people to get one of the brothers in handcuffs and two officers to get the remaining male suspects in cuffs.
The family included the father and sons Jeremiah, 29; Nathaniel, 27; David, Enoch; a 15-year-old boy; mother Ruth Gaver, 52; and an 11-year-old girl.
All were living out of the Chevrolet Suburban and were members of a traveling band called Matthew 24 Now, a reference to a Bible verse dealing with the end of times.April 12, 2015 at 5:57 pm #20453

Expect London house prices to crash in the coming months as those who refuse to hit bids, suddenly realize that he who sells first, sells best, especially with the taxman glancing over the shoulder. And once UK housing tumbles, watch as the entire economy follows suit, and leads to, you guessed it, another episode of QE from the BOE. Because in a world addicted to constant money flow from “outside” sources, if the wealthy refuse to be taxed, then the central bank will have to provide the funding on its own.
As for the world’s billionaires, don’t cry for them. Even without London, they will have plenty of other metropolises to pick from in the coming months, as we showed before…April 13, 2015 at 3:08 am #20471
If we are clear on the matter of Ukraine and on Crimea, we must consider Russia did not attack anyone there. Sure, there are events to which none of us are in agreement that took place, but certainly no invasion occurred. Vladimir Putin’s armies did not roll across the steppe, crushing Lithuania, Poland, and the east of Germany beneath tank treads. A region that has always been Russian turned homeward, and an installed government in Kiev began bombing and shelling its own citizens to death in Donass, just a few kilometers from Mother Russia. All the facts will never be in on this calamity, to be sure, but for Russians (and anyone of reason) the west has been on the offensive all along. This must be, first and foremost, considered by anyone who wishes to be called leader.

Conflicts Forum’s Weekly Comment, 6-13 March 2015
(This comment was published in French by Sputnik News and will shortly be published in Russian)
In an article marking a significant breach with usual political discourse, the leading German political magazine, Der Spiegel, lambasted two NATO generals for (effectively) lying when they accused Russia of escalating military intervention in Ukraine (when in fact, we have been witnessing a brief period of cessation of hostilities between Kiev and the Donbas, following Minsk 2). “The German government is alarmed”, the article warns: “Are the Americans trying to thwart European efforts at mediation led by Chancellor Angela Merkel? Sources in the Chancellery have referred to [US General] Breedlove’s comments as ‘dangerous propaganda’”.
Berlin’s anger directed at the ‘fifth column’ in Washington
Schmitt’s primal influence has always been pushed to the background (for obvious reasons), but through his, and Leo Strauss’ Schmittian followers (though Strauss himself was not wholly Schmittian), Carl Schmitt’s thinking has had a huge influence (i.e. on the Reagan and GW Bush’s administrations). The Chicago School, their main transmitter, added the parallel ‘big idea’: the neo-liberal notion of a global economic governance, achieved through American control of the world’s reserve currency, its influence over the IMF and the World Bank, and the International Order’s commitment to neo-liberal restructuring, de-regulation and privatisation.
But this too, in its way, was about power (the common element with neo-conservatism). Though cloaked in the language of free markets, neo-liberalism is effectively an accumulation strategy (via practices such as privatisation and financialisation) to bring economic and financial global control back into the realm of US sovereign control. In this fashion, the proclaimed ‘freedom’ of free markets has “primarily worked as a system of justification and legitimation for whatever needed to be done to achieve this goal”. More lately, the US Treasury has weaponised the global financial system to further America’s political levers of control and coercion.
By some strange alchemy, Schmittian neo-conservatism has particularly appealed to, and has been advanced by, those who were initially influenced by the ideas of Trotsky both in America and in Europe (including Tony Blair, who has said that the book that had most influenced him, and which had turned him toward politics, was Isaac Deutscher’s 1958 biography of Leon Trotsky). The founder of the famous neo-con magazine, the Public Interest, Irving Kristol, and co-editors, Nathan Glazer, Sidney Hook, and Albert Wohlstetter, too, were either members of, or close to, the Trotskyist left in the late 1930s and early 1940s.April 13, 2015 at 12:41 pm #20473

The US military has been using Yemen for a long time now as a base for its so called “anti-terrorist” operations. For this purpose, US special forces and other units were deployed in what was then a friendly environment. In military terms this, by definition, means that the entry conditions were ideal and that the US military had all the time and resources to establish a solid presence in Yemen. And yet, as soon as the proverbial bovine excreta hit the fan, all these “tough” super-dooper, secret and oh so “special” forces ran for their lives. The US diplomats at the local Embassy also ran for their lives. Which would have been fine, had they not left 4000 US citizens in the country under the pretext (official – from the Pentagon!) that it would be “too dangerous” to evacuate them! In a bizarre twist, three human rights organizations in the USA are now suing (what else?) the Obama Administration and the Pentagon over such a cowardly decision.
Think of it: the US Special Forces ran first and the civilians were simply abandoned!April 13, 2015 at 8:28 pm #20475
Yeah, that is what a “Ukrainian representative” would probably say. What are the readers to assume from that?
The AP writers certainly read the relevant OSCE spot report. So why did they leave out this part?
Both the Ukrainian Armed Forces representative and the Russian Federation representative to the Joint Centre for Control and Co-ordination (JCCC) told the SMM that the Ukrainian side (assessed to be the Right Sector volunteer battalion) earlier had made an offensive push through the line of contact towards Zhabunki (“DPR”-controlled, 14km west-north-west of Donetsk), …
The Nazis from the Right Sector Azov battalion attacked, broke the ceasefire and started the fighting.
But readers of just AP reports will not learn that.
There is a comparable issue with this smear piece by Newsweek. It is somewhat laudable in that it is the first one I see in the “western” media which reports on the issue of the eight political functionaries who were “suicided” in Ukraine by unknown perpetrators:April 13, 2015 at 9:29 pm #20476
At the centre of the UK’s vast child abuse scandal is Lord Victor Rothschild’s friend, Sir Anthony Blunt, formerly of MI5.
The late Sir Anthony Blunt was the son of a vicar and was closely related to the UK’s royal family.
Lord Victor Rothschild
Blunt was part of the Rothschild-linked Cambridge Spy Ring, which gave away Britain’s secrets.
In 1964, the British government granted Blunt full immunity from prosecution.
This was presumably because Blunt was part of the ‘Hidden Elite’ which uses child abuse rings to control the top people.
Jimmy Savile in Belfast in Northern Ireland. Savile is believed to have been working for the UK security services.
“Sir Anthony Blunt blocked police investigations into activities involving Jimmy Savile.
“This, according to our informant, came straight from the lips of an angry detective involved in the earlier police investigation.”
Times Online ‘Covers’ Jimmy Savile’s Child Abuse, Literally
Blunt was a frequent visitor to Northern Ireland, the location of the Kincora boys care home.
Kincora has now been linked to all the other ‘boy brothels’, used by the elite, throughout the UK.
Anthony Blunt and the Kincora cover-up | Private Eye
Blunt mixed with the top people in Northern Ireland (Ulster), including the right-wing Protestants (Orangemen / Loyalists), many of whom liked sex with boys.
A typical right-wing loyalist was Sir Samuel Knox Cunningham, who befriended Tony Blair at Fettes school. (TOP UK PEDOPHILE RINGS)April 13, 2015 at 11:31 pm #20477
Lincoln did not think blacks were the equals of whites. Lincoln’s plan was to send the blacks in America back to Africa, and if he had not been assassinated, returning blacks to Africa would likely have been his post-war policy.
As Thomas DiLorenzo and a number of non-court historians have conclusively established, Lincoln did not invade the Confederacy in order to free the slaves. The Emancipation Proclamation did not occur until 1863 when opposition in the North to the war was rising despite Lincoln’s police state measures to silence opponents and newspapers. The Emancipation Proclamation was a war measure issued under Lincoln’s war powers. The proclamation provided for the emancipated slaves to be enrolled in the Union army replenishing its losses. It was also hoped that the proclamation would spread slave revolts in the South while southern white men were away at war and draw soldiers away from the fronts in order to protect their women and children. The intent was to hasten the defeat of the South before political opposition to Lincoln in the North grew stronger.
The Lincoln Memorial was built not because Lincoln “freed the slaves,” but because Lincoln saved the empire. As the Savior of the Empire, had Lincoln not been assassinated, he could have become emperor for life.
As Professor Thomas DiLorenzo writes: “Lincoln spent his entire political career attempting to use the powers of the state for the benefit of the moneyed corporate elite (the ‘one-percenters’ of his day), first in Illinois, and then in the North in general, through protectionist tariffs, corporate welfare for road, canal, and railroad corporations, and a national bank controlled by politicians like himself to fund it all.”
Lincoln was a man of empire. As soon as the South was conquered, ravaged, and looted, his collection of war criminal generals, such as Sherman and Sheridan, set about exterminating the Plains Indians in one of the worst acts of genocide in human history. Even today Israeli Zionists point to Washington’s extermination of the Plains Indians as the model for Israel’s theft of Palestine.
The War of Northern Aggression was about tariffs and northern economic imperialism. The North was protectionist. The South was free trade. The North wanted to finance its economic development by forcing the South to pay higher prices for manufactured goods. The North passed the Morrill Tariff which more than doubled the tariff rate to 32.6% and provided for a further hike to 47%. The tariff diverted the South’s profits on its agricultural exports to the coffers of Northern industrialists and manufacturers. The tariff was designed to redirect the South’s expenditures on manufactured goods from England to the higher cost goods produced in the North.
This is why the South left the union, a right of self-determination under the Constitution.
The purpose of Lincoln’s war was to save the empire, not to abolish slavery. In his first inaugural address Lincoln “made an ironclad defense of slavery.” His purpose was to keep the South in the Empire despite the Morrill Tariff. As for slavery, Lincoln said: “I have no purpose, directly or indirectly to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.” This position, Lincoln reminded his audience, was part of the 1860 Republican Party platform. Lincoln also offered his support for the strong enforcement of the Fugitive Slave Act, which required Northerners to hunt down and return runaway slaves, and he gave his support to the Corwin Amendment to the Constitution, already passed by Northern votes in the House and Senate, that prohibited any federal interference with slavery. For Lincoln and his allies, the empire was far more important than slaves.
DiLorenzo explains what the deal was that Lincoln offered to the South. However, just as empire was more important to the North than slavery, for the South avoiding large taxes on manufactured goods, in effect a tax on Southern agricultural profits, was more important than northern guarantees for slavery.
If you want to dislodge your brainwashing about the War of Northern Aggression, read DiLorenzo’s books, The Real Lincoln, and Lincoln Unmasked.
This is the twisted perverted world in which we live. Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, is confronted with Washington’s overthrow of the elected government in Ukraine, a Russian ally and for centuries a part of Russia itself, while Putin is falsely accused of invading Ukraine. China is accused by Washington as a violator of human rights while Washington murders more civilians in the 21st century than every other country combined.April 14, 2015 at 8:29 am #20478
This summer the U.S. government will begin an unprecedented joint military exercise involving several states and tens of thousands of participants ranging from special operations groups to volunteer citizens.
The official purpose of the exercise, dubbed Operation Jade Helm 15, according to the military is to prepare American soldiers and special operations teams for emerging foreign threats. But investigations by independent media outlets suggest it is much more than a standard “training exercise.”
Involving as many as 10 states, the operation reportedly identifies several hostile areas around the United States, including Texas and Utah and aims to have the military prepared to “master the human domain” by utilizing citizen reports and surveillance to accomplish their mission. In other words, as Dave Hodges recently noted, they want to engender trust in order to control “the totality of the physical, cultural, and social environments that influence human behavior.”April 14, 2015 at 9:15 am #20479
If the 9/11 attacks were indeed orchestrated by Saudi Arabia, then it’s not a stretch to ask who else may have been involved or aware of it ahead of time considering the extremely close relationship between the U.S. and the desert monarchy. The apparent cover-up makes everything look even more suspicious.
Oh, and in the event that the New York Post isn’t sophisticated enough for you, this was also covered the by the New York Times in the article, Florida Ex-Senator Pursues Claims of Saudi Ties to Sept. 11 Attacks. Here’s an excerpt:
“One thing that irritates me is that the F.B.I. has gone beyond just covering up, trying to avoid disclosure, into what I call aggressive deception,” Mr. Graham said during an interview in a family office in this Miami suburb, which rose on what was a sprawling dairy farm operated by Mr. Graham’s father, also political leader in Florida.

Hahahaha, they’ve screwed up the economics so much that soon you can get a mortgage where you are paid to buy a house…
Back in January we asked the following: “who will be the first to offer a negative rate mortgage?” Soon thereafter we discovered that in fact, this NIRP-inspired aberration already existed in Denmark where Nordea Credit was offering to pay borrowers to purchase a house prompting us to make the following assessment:
And just like that, first in Denmark, and soon everywhere else in Europe, a situation has now emerged where savers who pay the bank to hold their cash courtesy of negative deposit rates, are directly funding the negative interest rate paid to those who wish to take out debt. In fact, the more debt the greater the saver-subsidized windfall.April 14, 2015 at 5:06 pm #20484
So expect more paid idiot trolls…
While issuing scary revelations about the alleged ‘Kremlin Troll Army’ operating online, ‘perpetuating a pro-Kremlin dialogue’, the US government’s international broadcaster RFE/RL somehow forgot to disclose it is prepared to spend as much as $15.4 million of taxpayers’ money on its own digital media forces to battle phantom Russia in the media
The US government agency Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) has filed its annual Fiscal Year Budget Request with the US Congress. This year its overall draft budget of $751.5 million requires some extra funding.
Among the notable areas which require intense investing is “Countering a Revanchist Russia”, for which it will allocate $15.4 million to battles in the blogosphere.
Interestingly enough, it is more than twice as much as the agency is prepared to shell out on “Countering The ISIL Narrative” ($6.1 million).April 14, 2015 at 5:08 pm #20485
What charming people…
Mark Knight, former CEO of Knight Oil Tools — where “people make the difference” — has gotten himself into some trouble.
Apparently, Mark thought his brother Bryan, who is Knight Oil Tools’ co-owner, needed to take some time off from work because according to Louisiana state police, Mark paid a Sheriff’s Deputy and a State Trooper more than $100,000 to plant cocaine, methadone, and vicodin under Bryan’s car and then arrest him on drug charges. The plot was allegedly hatched with the help of Knight employee Russell Manual whose text messages and e-mails helped authorities reconstruct the following absurd story.April 14, 2015 at 7:36 pm #20489

Seems Ran Prieur has finally given up on his land project
March 22. Personal update. Here’s a six year old photo of me and my truck just after buying it. I paid $2600 and just sold it for $2500. Partly that’s because Rangers hold their value, but I also put only 5000 miles per year on it, drove it gently, and sold it with nicer tires. Plus I just spent $300 on new shocks, front rotors, pads, and bearings, all of which were surprisingly easy to replace. I’m sad to see it go, but now that Leigh Ann has a car and I have a scooter, holding onto it wasn’t worth the cost of insurance and registration. That means I’ll almost never be visiting my land, and anyone who plans to do permaculture can have it for below market value.April 15, 2015 at 6:57 am #20492
Stupid Swedes are STILL investigating the imaginary submarine…
A suspected submarine spotted in the Stockholm archipelago a week after Sweden’s extensive hunt for Russian underwater vessels last autumn was only a civilian boat, Sweden’s Armed Forces have now said. But they remain convinced that the first sighting was a small foreign sub (sure they do – RB). On Oct 31 2014, retired naval officer Sven Olof Kviman snapped a picture of what looked like a 20-30 metre long, black submarine in waters just outside Lidingö in Stockholm. The incident has remained unconfirmed, but has been classed by the military as a “potential” submarine. But Rear-Adm Anders Grenstad has now told Swedish newspapers that the Armed Forces reported to the Swedish government last Wednesday that the suspected underwater vessel was in fact only a civilian “working boat”. Grenstad told Dagens Nyheter on Monday:
The analysis has shown that the photograph taken in Stockholm’s inner archipelago was of a smaller boat.
According to Grenstad, the picture instead showed the boat “Time Bandit”, a 10.5 metre long, white plastic boat. But the boatman using the vessel on Oct 31 claimed the Swedish military had not been in contact with him. He told Dagens Nyheter:
The navy hasn’t spoken to me. My boat is visible in the picture, but not where the Armed Forces say it is, further away.April 15, 2015 at 3:30 pm #20493
The very same people that caused the last economic crisis have created a 278 TRILLION dollar derivatives time bomb that could go off at any moment. When this absolutely colossal bubble does implode, we are going to be faced with the worst economic crash in the history of the United States. During the last financial crisis, our politicians promised us that they would make sure that “too big to fail” would never be a problem again. Instead, as you will see below, those banks have actually gotten far larger since then. So now we really can’t afford for them to fail. The six banks that I am talking about are JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo. When you add up all of their exposure to derivatives, it comes to a grand total of more than 278 trillion dollars. But when you add up all of the assets of all six banks combined, it only comes to a grand total of about 9.8 trillion dollars. In other words, these “too big to fail” banks have exposure to derivatives that is more than 28 times greater than their total assets. This is complete and utter insanity, and yet nobody seems too alarmed about it. For the moment, those banks are still making lots of money and funding the campaigns of our most prominent politicians. Right now there is no incentive for them to stop their incredibly reckless gambling so they are just going to keep on doing it.
So precisely what are “derivatives”?April 15, 2015 at 3:45 pm #20494
There will be those who do not believe the Iranian news agency which quotes these multiple sources, and would only give any credibility to a western corporate media outlet. But it is precisely the western media that lies all the time, bases stories upon invention and imagination, and presents a squeaky-clean media package daily which runs along the same lines as the caprices of the lobbies which control these media groups. Informed people these days go to the social media to find out what is really going on. And for what reasons should we disbelieve Fars News? With so many voices saying the same thing? As for ISIS, quite apart from the humanitarian crimes, such as murdering children for reasons known only to a psychopath, raping girls, beheading women for wearing red jackets, the World Heritage they have already destroyed belongs to humankind, not to them and anyway how can statues from ancient times, which were built before Islam existed, thousands of years before Islam existed, be considered as idolatrous? These crimes are a cultural outrage. The ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud, which was already ancient when Alexander the Great passed by and saw it before the Romans existed, will, for the best reasons, remain forever in the hearts and minds of humankind. ISIS and those who fund, aid, abet and arm it, will do so for the very worst.April 15, 2015 at 4:02 pm #20495
Scientists from the University of Liverpool are developing a new carbon dating technology that could revolutionise field archaeology.
In partnership with Norton Priory Museum & Gardens and supported by funding from the Arts Council England, they will develop a new technique which will make it quicker and easier to date archaeological finds.
Radiocarbon dating is used to determine the age of ancient objects by means of measuring the amount of carbon-14 remaining in a sample.
However it is an expensive process which takes place offsite and typically takes six weeks or more which means that an excavation is likely to be over before the important dating information can be obtained.
The new technology uses a quadrupole mass spectrometer (QMS) which will reduce the time it takes to obtain data for a bone sample to just two days.
Significantly the technology can also be utilised onsite, and this is the first time this has been attempted.April 15, 2015 at 4:03 pm #20496
It had been thought that the nomadic hunter-gatherers of Britain’s Mesolithic period may have abandoned their dead, but a deposit containing cremated human bone was uncovered by a team from Oxford Archaeology in southeastern England. The bone probably represents at least one adult, whose remains were recovered with a large amount of charcoal, perhaps from a pyre that would have had to have reached a high temperature to achieve the complete combustion of the corpse. “We were expecting this cremation to date to the Bronze Age: we were so surprised when the first radiocarbon date came back as Mesolithic that we did two more to double check!” said Nick Gilmour, excavation leader. Sharp flint blades were found in the same pit, and although they were not finished tools, they could have been used for cutting. Three similar Mesolithic cremations are known in Ireland, and several have been found in continental Europe.April 15, 2015 at 4:11 pm #20497

Consortium News has published some very good stories lately on the Saudi-Israel connection and its control of Congress. One that appeared the other day by Anthony Shaker, “Saudis Pour Oil on the Mideast Fire,” was particularly scathing:
King Salman needs the Sunni-Shia conflict more than ever, too, just to perpetuate the waning rule of his dynasty and the aberrant social conditions of his subjects. Saudi Arabia’s Wahhabism has rotted away society to the core, just as it has everywhere else it has taken root.
Dr. In’am al-Rabu’i, the president of children’s studies at the Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah, warns that the country suffers from widespread sexual ailments. This has been known for some time. But a recent study has shown that a whopping 23 percent of all Saudi children have been raped at least once, mostly within families.April 15, 2015 at 7:28 pm #20499

Excluding Iran, whose sales are subject to some sanctions, members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries are expected to earn $380 billion selling their oil this year, according to U.S. estimates. That represents a $350 billion drop from 2014 — the largest one-year decline in history.
“The shock for oil-rich countries is enormous,” Rabah Arezki, head of the commodities research team at the IMF in Washington, said in an interview.
Oil-rich countries will sell more than $200 billion of assets this year to bridge the gap left between high fiscal spending and low revenues, Spegel said.
