The Chairman of the Ukrainian Security Service Valentin Nalivaichenko believes that the SBU should be reformed by using the security service of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists—Ukrainian Insurgent Army as an example.
P.S. Considering that OUN-UPA carried out mass killings of Ukrainians, Russians, Poles, and Jews, using it as a point of reference for the Kiev junta repressive apparatus is noteworthy.April 5, 2015 at 8:32 am #20237

The United States of Death…
Brookings describes in exceptional detail how Pindostan should organize its proxy terrorists, writing:
Insurgencies take a long time to succeed, when they succeed at all. It takes time for insurgents to identify leaders and recruit personnel, establish bases and gather equipment, and learn tactics and proficiency with weapons. It takes even longer to win popular support, erode the morale of the government’s armed forces, and then undermine the government’s legitimacy. … The CIA could take care of most of the supplies and training for these groups, as it has for decades all over the world. However, Washington would need to decide whether to provide the groups with direct military assistance. … Washington would also need to protect neighboring countries providing sanctuary to the insurgents. Any insurgency against the Iranian regime would need a safe haven and conduit for arms and other supplies through one or more of Iran’s neighbors.
This precise strategy has been implemented regarding Syria. Material support for terrorists operating in Syria has been provided for years by the West, with the West’s vast media monopolies providing rhetoric to undermine the legitimacy of the Syrian government, and Pindo-created sanctuaries outside of Syria (primarily in Turkey and Jordan) for terrorists to to seek safe havens in and through which a torrent of arms, cash, equipment, and fighters flow. Upon understanding that the war in Syria is but a lead-up to a larger conflict with Iran, after reading this literal signed confession created by Pindo policy-makers clearly serving as the foundation for several years of foreign policy across the Middle East, one begins to understand the urgent imperative incumbent upon those who, for the sake of their own self-preservation, are tasked with stopping it. Russian and Chinese efforts to obstruct Pindosi designs in Syria are about more than selfish regional interests. They are a matter of self-preservation: of stopping the conflict in Syria from spilling into Iran, then southern Russia, and eventually enveloping western China as well. That Pindostan has committed itself to fuelling chaos in Syria despite the unlikelihood of actually overthrowing the government in Damascus, costing tens of thousands of innocent people their lives, illustrates the callousness of Pindo foreign policy, highlighting the fact that Western sponsorship of terrorism around the world constitutes perhaps the most egregious, continuous, and horrifically demonstrable threat to global peace and stability in our age.

Since I exposed Cyril Smith as a child abuser, my world has seemed to revolve around two types of people.
Former police officers who revealed they knew about him all along but had looked the other way or were silenced from on high.
And politicians who claim to have known nothing, but could have done plenty about it.
Ex-policeman Karl told me how in the early Eighties he had been on a CID training course in Wakefield.
A lecturer from the British Transport Police showed the hundred or so officers some security camera footage to illustrate how transport police could detect crime at key transport hubs.
Former police officers revealed they knew about Smith all along but had looked the other way
Former police officers revealed they knew about Smith all along but had looked the other way
‘Suddenly on the screen, there was footage from Euston of a guy approaching young boys at the station,’ Karl said. ‘It was a dirty old man trying it on with boys.’
There was a murmur of recognition. ‘That’s Cyril Smith,’ someone piped up. ‘Everyone realised it was him,’ said Karl.
So they were being shown a training video of Cyril Smith grooming boys? ‘Pretty much, yeah,’ he shrugged.
But didn’t you wonder why no one was doing anything about Smith? ‘I thought at the time someone should be doing something, but you don’t step on other people’s toes. I presumed Transport Police were dealing with it.’
Another former officer gave me details of Operation Cleopatra, which was launched in 1997 to investigate child abuse in children’s homes and schools across Greater Manchester.
One they looked at was Knowl View, a residential school in Rochdale for children with learning difficulties, where Smith had abused boys.
In 1999 this officer submitted a file recommending Smith be prosecuted for child abuse. But once again this fell on deaf ears. ‘They decided not to pursue him and I never saw my report again,’ he explained.
T his had been going on for 40 years, ever since the police made their first inquiries about Smith and boys. But no one ever did anything. And the key question remains: why not?
I’d heard so many stories by now that I had no doubt this was a problem that extended further than Cyril Smith. I knew there must be other politicians involved. Why else would he be protected?
Other stories were now appearing in the newspapers linking MPs with the murder of children during depraved, violent orgies. I spoke to other officers about this and pressed everyone who came to me about it for information. But one thing held them back. There was an incredible fear of speaking out.
As the stakes were getting higher, I’d be passed on to colleagues who’d panic when I approached them and suggest I talk to someone else. Everyone I came across seemed to be touched by the same anxiety. And then I realised why.

The children raped in the VIP rape parties in Dolphin Square, London, organised by Peter Righton, were said to have been trafficked from Suffolk care homes.
Tony McSweeny who was found guilty of one charge of indecently assaulting a boy at a children’s home in Grafton Close in the London Borough of Richmond between 1979 and 1981 was a priest in St George’s Catholic church in Norwich, around twenty minutes drive from Suffolk.
In July 2014, the Daily Mail reported that Richard Alston, 69, from Suffolk, was accused of five counts of indecent assault and three counts of gross indecency with a child.
Richard Alston’s accusations were linked to Charles Napier, who was found guilty of multiple sexual assaults of young people.
Napier is the half-brother of Conservative MP John Whittingdale, who said that he worked with Leon Brittan, and got on very well with him. Richard Alston was residing in Bury St Edmonds, Suffolk, at the time of the arrest.
Suffolk is home to the Thornham Magna Estate where sexual abuse by Peter Righton and Charles Napier and child murder by Peter Righton, has been alleged to have taken place, under the cloak of an educational and recreational centre for disadvantaged children..April 5, 2015 at 2:38 pm #20242

In what can only be seen as another “symbol of sanctions defiance”, on March 27 China announced it would be providing French oil giant Total with $15 billion to invest into the Yamal LNG project in northern Siberia. Despite some of the harshest Western sanctions placed upon Yamal’s majority stakeholder, private Russian gas company Novatek, the project has hardly been derailed. What’s more, Yamal offers a glimpse into a world where Russia is no longer dependent on the West for financing.
The $27 billion investment project in the Yamal Peninsula, owned by Novatek (60%), Total (20%) and China’s CNPC (20%), aims to tap into northwest Siberia’s vast natural gas reserves, which contain 84% of Russia’s total natural gas, and double Russia’s share in the fast growing liquefied natural gas market. The Arctic region is said to contain 22% of the world’s undiscovered oil and gas, with the majority of untapped natural gas predicted to be located within Russia’s territory. Currently, Russia’s LNG capacity stands at 10mtpa, but the Yamal LNG project will increase this number by more than twofold.April 5, 2015 at 2:45 pm #20244
One of the largest political public forums in the Netherlands geenstijl.nl and focal point of the Dutch resistance against Islamization of the Netherlands, has published a leaked email, written by a Dutch diplomat and probably sent to colleagues within the Dutch foreign ministry. Date: 14 July 2014, that is three days before the MH17 tragedy. She reports about a briefing of western diplomats by Ukrainian foreign minister Pavlo Klimkin. Klimkin expressed his concern about the escalation of the military situation in the East. He also stresses the danger of the situation in the skies above Donbass and refers to a recent case of an Antonov that was downed from an altitude of 6200 m. The Geenstijl folks use the email to illustrate that the Dutch government knew very well about the dangers of flying over Donbass and (correctly) accuse the Dutch government of negligence and inaction. So far, so good.
But Geenstijl fails to notice a very interesting fact and as a consequence doesn’t draw far-reaching conclusions from it.
The Ukrainian foreign minister openly states that the separatists don’t have the means to take down planes from high altitude and (probably correctly) accuses the Russian Federation of taking the Ukrainian military Antonov down.
That’s quite a statement, made by a Ukrainian foreign minister, three days before the MH17 was shot down, please let that sink in.
The separatists did not do it, because they did not have the means to do it, as per Ukrainian foreign minister’s own admission.
Kiev didn’t do it either. You are not going to brief western diplomats on the highest level that the separatists don’t have the means to down the planes, if you intend to setup a false flag operation and blame the separatists anyway.
Technically, the Russians could have done it, like they likely did with the Antonov, but unlike the separatists, the Russians knew precisely which plane is what on the basis of radar information and downing a western plane is the last thing the Russians would want to do.
So, if neither the Russians, nor Kiev did it, than who did it?
Quatro non datur.
It must have been a rogue operation by the governor of Dnepropetrovsk, who picked up the phone and ordered a squadron to take out a plane with Vladimir Putin on board. But Putin’s plane decided on a last minute change of course and the Ukrainian fighter jet pilot took down the wrong plane.
It claims that oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi received intelligence that the Kremlin president’s aircraft, known as Plane Number One, was due to overfly the region and land at Rostov-on-Don, and ordered what was to become the shooting down of the MH17. This Russian city is close to the crash site. But, it is claimed, Putin’s route was changed and the last minute and he landed instead in Moscow.
[dailymail.co.uk] – MH17 ‘was shot down in botched bid to assassinate PUTIN’
“About an hour before the catastrophe, three fighter jets took off [from Dnepropetrovsk]. One of the planes was an Su-25, which was equipped with these kind of [air-to-air] missiles,”… Once the surviving pilot got out of the plane, he looked “very frightened.”… The Ukrainian pilot’s first words as he got out of the jet were: “Wrong plane,” the alleged witness claimed. Later in the evening that same pilot also reportedly stated: “The plane happened to be in the wrong place at a wrong time.” According to RT, the pilot Vladislav Voloshin is real.April 5, 2015 at 3:16 pm #20245
US to begin training Ukrainian NeoNazis on Hitler’s Birthday ! Hahahaha
KIEV, Ukraine — The United States plans to send soldiers to Ukraine in April for training exercises with units of the country’s national guard.
Ukraine’s Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said in a Facebook post on Sunday that the units to be trained include the Azov Battalion, a volunteer force that has attracted criticism for its far-right sentiments including brandishing an emblem widely used in Nazi Germany.
Avakov said the training will begin April 20 at a base in western Ukraine near the Polish border and would involve about 290 American paratroopers and some 900 Ukrainian guardsmen.
Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren said the troops would come from the 173rd Airborne Brigade based in Vicenza, Italy.April 5, 2015 at 3:41 pm #20246
For such a major actor in the Ukraine debacle, war criminal Igor Kolomoisky’s white glove treatment by the media, if he gets any coverage at all, is quite impressive. After all, how does one finance and command fanatic, right-wing marauders, while managing to hold such posts as the President of the “European Council of Jewish Communities”, and not get any traction in the global mainstream press? Really? In the Ukrainian press, where he has substantial control over narrative, it’s understandable — but globally? Even his own carefully-tailored Wikipedia page goes unchallenged as La-di-da fact of day.
The daily whitewash of this Ukrainian resource-siphoning death philanthropist doesn’t miss a beat. Banker… Politician… Media Mogul… Commander in Chief…He is labeled everything but the criminal he is. The ridiculous George Friedman of Stratfor, who charges enormous sums of money to issue melodramatic secretive reports to all sorts of unpleasant American individuals and organisations, who get duped by the kindergarten twaddle that agency dispenses, stated in his recent lecture in Chicago, (that I linked a few comments back) that USA rules the high seas, which is its great advantage, blah blah…
However, as history has taught, people like him are invariably wrong, in their arrogant assumptions, based on what happened in the PAST, because, what history shows, is that it only takes a tiny nudge to the technology to tip the scales dramatically… and then ALL the assumptions of fools like Friedman go up in flames…
For example, all those knights in very expensive, superbly made, shining armour, on beautiful specially bred war horses, who went into battle and charged through the ranks of infantry, with the arrows bouncing off the steel… I mean, that’s how the Western Crusaders won in the Levant and grabbed Jerusalem, the arrows of the defenders could not penetrate the armour..
But, but, but… when someone came up with the invention called the Crossbow.. everything changed. It took years to train a good archer with an ordinary bow, but only a couple of months to teach a guy to use a crossbow, and the added power shot a bolt that went through the armour, and so suddenly, mass produced cross bows, loads of guys to shoot them, and you have a whole new game to play and your knights on horseback are obsolete…ceremonial use only.
Well. What if that has happened to the conventional US Navy… and maybe, several other ‘conventional’ warfare approaches ?
We’ve seen plenty of videos of swarms of mini drones. They are absolutely terrifying, if you imagine hundreds of those coming at you, or after you, weaponised in any numbers of ways. They can, of course, range in scale, from the size of very small insects, right up to large birds and aircraft.
But that’s only the start. Any border or boundary can be patrolled by thousands of such things, on the ground, in the air, amphibious, underwater, co-ordinated from some far-distant point, even via satellite. It’s nothing like fighting and outwitting human opponents. The array of sensors and weapons can far exceed anything any human can deploy. And they don’t mind being killed.
So, re those big clunky warships. What happens when the sky and the ocean, and BENEATH the ocean surface, all suddenly go dark, with hundreds of thousands of drone-missiles incoming, all of differing kinds and capabilities, but all determined to destroy the target ?
I mean, the Chinese factories can churn out billions of such things, at the sort of cost of the crap on the shelves in Walmart, and even if half of them malfunction, and some get destroyed by defensive capabilities, it’ll be like the Japanese Kamikaze pilots zooming down from the sky, but they’ll be coming from all directions, non-stop, for days, until… THE END.

The US military has been bombing one Middle Eastern or Muslim nation or
another almost continuously since 1983, including Lebanon, Libya, Syria,
Iran, the Sudan, Afghanistan, and Iraq (almost daily bombings since 1991)
This, then, is a sampling of American foreign policies over the last 50
years. The FBI uses the following definition for Terrorism: “The unlawful
use of force or violence committed by a group or individual, who has some
connection to a foreign power or whose activities transcend national
boundaries, against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a
government, the civilian population or any segment thereof, in furtherance
of political or social objectives.” This sounds like the terrorism we just
experienced. It also sounds a lot like the US policies and actions since
1945 that I’ve just described.April 5, 2015 at 6:58 pm #20251
Assassination, torture, rendition, secret prisons, medical experiments on unsuspecting Americans, the hiring of Nazis, indefinite detention, partnerships with criminal organizations and foreign dictators, coups, sanctions, embargoes, invasions, undeclared wars, wars of aggression, and extra-judicial executions. When any of those types of things occurred in the 19th century, they were considered exceptions to the system. Now they have become permanent parts of the system.
And look at the results of this gigantic warfare-state transformation: ever-increasing infringements on liberty and privacy, ever-increasing spending, debt, and taxes, and ever-increasing anger and hatred toward our country. Yes, all the things that characterized the British Empire that British colonists revolted against in 1776. How’s that for irony?April 5, 2015 at 8:24 pm #20252
The chilling slogans and a flagrant demonstration of nationalist symbols during the neo-Nazi march in Kiev reminded the Czech President Milos Zeman of Hitler’s Germany. He said something was “wrong” both with Ukraine and the EU which didn’t condemn it.
Zeman was commenting on the appalling scenes, which showed thousands of Ukrainian nationalists holding a torchlight procession across the Ukrainian capital on Thursday to commemorate the 106th birthday of Stepan Bandera, a Nazi collaborator and the Ukraine nationalist movement’s leader during World War II.
“There is something wrong with Ukraine,” the Czech Republic’s leadertold radio F1 on Sunday. “Yesterday evening I was browsing the Internet and discovered a video showing the demonstration on Kiev’s Maidan on January 1.”
“These demonstrators carried portraits of Stepan Bandera, which reminded me of Reinhard Heydrich,”Zeman said referring to one of the main architects of the Holocaust and at the time a Reich-Protector of Czech Republic’s territories.
“The parade itself was organized similar to Nazi torchlight parades, where participants shouted the slogan: ‘Death to the Poles, Jews and communists without mercy,”Zeman explained.
Bandera was the head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), which collaborated with Nazi Germany, and was involved in the ethnic cleansing of Poles, Jews and Russians.
“Glory to the nation! Death to enemies!”, “Ukraine belongs to Ukrainians” and “Bandera will return and restore order”, were the repeated slogans during the neo-Nazi march. Some of the participants wore World War II Bandera’s insurgent army uniforms while others paraded with red and black nationalist flags.
The Czech President said something is “wrong” not only with Ukraine, but also with the European Union, which did not protest or condemn this action.
“Don’t forget that Bandera is considered a national hero in Ukraine, his image is hanging in the Maidan, his statue is in Lvov. In reality, he was a mass murderer,” Zeman said last summer on Czech Television.
Russia too has on numerous occasions condemned the resurgence of neo-Nazi traditions in Ukraine and considers such displays of militant nationalism as means to fabricate history.
“Torch-lit marches in Ukraine demonstrate that it is continuing to move along the path of the Nazis!”Konstantin Dolgov, the foreign ministry’s human rights envoy, said last week. “And this is in the center of civilized Europe!”April 6, 2015 at 1:09 am #20253

The number of US-NATO troops in Afghanistan has been reduced from a high of 130,000 to 13,000, of which some 10,000 are US, but NATO’s new headquarters building in Brussels is expanding in both size and cost. The budget for the immense complex was approved at 460 million Euros (500 million US dollars) in 2010 but has now surged to over 1.25 billion Euros, about 1.4 billion dollars.
Germany’s Der Spiegel reported in January that the scandal of the cost overrun was being kept secret by all governments contributing to this redundant organization. A leaked cable from Germany’s ambassador explained that at a meeting of NATO representatives last December they “pointed to the disastrous effect on the image of the alliance if construction were to stop and if NATO appeared to be incapable of punctually completing a construction project that was decided at the NATO summit of government leaders in April 1999 in Washington. The risk of a further cost increase is already palpable.”
The solution to NATO’s self-imposed image problem was simple : the people responsible for managing the affairs of a military alliance involving 28 countries, 3.5 million combatants and 5,000 nuclear weapons decided, as asked by the staff of its Secretary General, to deal with the matter “confidentially.” In other words, the cost overruns and delays in construction are being deliberately concealed from the public in the hope that NATO’s executives will not appear incompetent.
Meantime, while trying to conceal their flaws, faults and failings in management of basic administrative affairs, NATO’s chiefs are squaring up to Russia in an attempt to persuade the world that President Putin is about to mount an invasion from the east. The focal point of NATO’s contrived alarm is the corrupt and chaotic regime in power in Ukraine, which has serious disagreements with Russia and is therefore energetically supported by the United States to the point of distortion, menace, and mendacity.
As reported in the UK’s Daily Telegraph on March 4, the commander of US troops in Europe, General Frederick “Ben” Hodges, has accused Russia of having 12,000 troops inside eastern Ukraine, which was irresponsible nonsense.
Hodges was formerly the army’s Congressional Liaison Officer in Washington where he obviously acquired a taste for political grandstanding, as in a political speech of the sort that generals have no right to make he declared that “We have to raise the cost for Putin. Right now he has 85 per cent domestic support. But when mothers start seeing their sons come home dead, when the price goes up, domestic support goes down,” which was as offensive as it was hostile.
In February the Wall Street Journal reported Hodges as saying “I believe the Russians are mobilizing right now for a war that they think is going to happen in five or six years—not that they’re going to start a war in five or six years, but I think they are anticipating that things are going to happen, and that they will be in a war of some sort, of some scale, with somebody within the next five or six years.” Just what President Putin was supposed to make of that is anyone’s guess — but it is certain that Hodges’ bellicose meanderings did nothing to persuade Moscow that there would be any attempt by the US-NATO coalition to modify its policy of uncompromising enmity.
Other pronouncements by NATO leaders have been equally threatening and intended to convince the public of western Europe that Russia attacked Ukraine.
But even if Russia had indeed invaded Ukraine, it would have had nothing whatever to do with anyone else.
The US-NATO coalition willfully ignores the fact that Ukraine is not a member of either the European Union or NATO and has no treaty of any sort with any nation in the world that would require provision of political, economic or military support in the event of a bilateral dispute with any other country. Yet NATO has seized upon the Ukraine-Russia discord to justify its policy of unrelenting hostility to Moscow.
NATO should have been disbanded at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union because that threat was the sole reason for its existence; but it decided to multiply membership and extend its military presence closer and closer to Russia’s borders. There is little wonder that Russia is apprehensive about NATO’s intentions, as the muscle-flexing coalition lurches towards conflict.April 6, 2015 at 5:29 am #20256

Her Twitter statements have outraged prominent members of the Ukrainian-Canadian community, which broadly supports the current government. “Ms. Lisitsa has been engaged in a long campaign on social media belittling, insulting and disparaging the people of Ukraine as they face direct military aggression at the hands of the Russian Federation,” Paul Grod, president of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, said in an e-mail exchange. Ms. Lisitsa did not respond to requests for an interview on Monday.
Ms. Lisitsa’s tweets about the Ukrainian regime have included some harsh comparisons with Nazi Germany, sometimes laced with morbid comedy. “In a new European Ukraine, the camps will give the subhumans [ethnic Russians] condemned to gas chambers an opportunity to offset their carbon footprint,” she says in one.
Ms. Lisitsa is an ethnic Russian who was born in Ukraine and speaks Ukrainian (she now lives in North Carolina). Her tweets are strongly supportive of the Russian minority in Ukraine, but she seems to oppose the civil war.
“The worst thing that can happen to any country is fratricidal war,” she says in her statement, “people seeing each other, their neighbours as enemies to be eliminated.”
