Almost half 48.5% of the California electorate voted to label GMO food in spite of Monsanto and a couple of other food giants outspending the citizens by ten to one.
At the end of this post is a complete list of the donors to the No on 37 side. Please boycott these companies:
But first, take a look at the most loathsome of all; the corporations that sell fake organics and don’t support labeling. Here’s a chart showing the bad guys and the good guys.

“The American Academy of Pediatrics, a rather conservative organization, has now clearly stated a link between pesticides and childhood cancer. Genetically modified food has more pesticide residues on it than conventional food since it has been specifically genetically engineered to resist pesticide dousing–for example, Roundup Ready Corn, Soy, Sugar Beets, Canola etc.
So in addition to the carcinogenic effects of the EPA registered pesticide that the corn itself produces, you get the chemicals as well.
“AAP points to the growing body of scientific evidence linking pesticide exposure to children’s health harms, focusing in on harms to the developing nervous system and increased risk of some childhood cancers. The pediatrician group’s findings and recommendations are similar to those highlighted by PAN’s ‘A Generation in Jeopardy’ report released last month.”
This puts the so called “Modern Environmentalist” movement, that supports nuclear power and GMOs in laughable perspective. They are a bunch of co-opted and sell out corporate whores.”December 15, 2012 at 12:01 am #6203

Some object to shale energy on environmental grounds. While I’m no geologist, reports of “earthquakes” in Lancashire during recent “pilot fracks” make worrying reading. It also appears that US shale production has, at the very least, had an indirect impact on water supplies, as underground aquifers have been damaged.
Given the West’s desperation for something – anything – to rescue us from our economic malaise, even the most determined environmentalists won’t stop the shale juggernaut until evidence emerges of very serious damage indeed to human health and welfare.
Maybe such evidence will emerge, maybe it won’t. I just don’t know.
What I do know, though, is that the production implications of the shale revolution, and its related economic and strategic advantages, are being blown out of all proportion.
When the big energy companies and Western governments push in the same direction, they can, for a while anyway, create any conventional wisdom they like, even one with little regard for the facts.December 16, 2012 at 4:32 pm #6222
Jane Goodall, one of the world’s greatest conservationists, has made an impassioned plea for a worldwide ban on the sale of ivory to prevent the extinction of the African elephant.
Her call follows the seizure in Malaysia last week of 24 tonnes of illegal ivory and a report by conservationists warning that the illegal ivory trade now threatens governments as rebel groups use the sale of tusks to fund their wars.
“A massive tragedy is unfolding in some parts of Africa. This is desperately serious, unprecedented,” she said. “We believe that Tanzania has lost half its elephants in the last three years. Ugandan military planes have been seen over the Democratic Republic of the Congo shooting elephants from the air. Armed militia are now shooting the elephants.”
She accused China of being ultimately responsible, because most of the ivory is sent there to be made into ornaments. “The main market is China and the east. The ivory appears to be smuggled out in the Chinese diplomatic pouches or in unmarked planes, or it is smuggled over the border to DR Congo. Armed gangs and rangers are joining in the smuggling or are getting killed. I fear we are losing the battle in some countries. It’s shocking,” she said.December 19, 2012 at 5:03 pm #6252
Americans killing children for Obama…
When he received the order to fire, he pressed a button with his left hand and marked the roof with a laser. The pilot sitting next to him pressed the trigger on a joystick, causing the drone to launch a Hellfire missile. There were 16 seconds left until impact.
“These moments are like in slow motion,” he says today. Images taken with an infrared camera attached to the drone appeared on his monitor, transmitted by satellite, with a two-to-five-second time delay.
With seven seconds left to go, there was no one to be seen on the ground. Bryant could still have diverted the missile at that point. Then it was down to three seconds. Bryant felt as if he had to count each individual pixel on the monitor. Suddenly a child walked around the corner, he says.
Second zero was the moment in which Bryant’s digital world collided with the real one in a village between Baghlan and Mazar-e-Sharif.
Bryant saw a flash on the screen: the explosion. Parts of the building collapsed. The child had disappeared. Bryant had a sick feeling in his stomach.
“Did we just kill a kid?” he asked the man sitting next to him.
“Yeah, I guess that was a kid,” the pilot replied.December 19, 2012 at 7:51 pm #6253
Humans. Racing towards oblivion…
“Only now I can read all about the burgeoning bioenergy field in the current issue of New Scientist (for the next eight days at least, at which point the article disappears behind a paywall). ”Biofuel that’s better than carbon neutral” describes a number of promising young start-ups based on the use of engineered cyanobacteria, and tells me that at least one of them — Bio Fuel Systems Inc., out of Spain — squeezes “blue petroleum” from its colonies and then
“sells its high-value algal by-products as nutritional supplements, such as omega-3 fatty acids.”
All that arcane research and rationalization. All those steps to justify the transmission of engineered algal genes from reactor to rectum. All for naught.
The industry is already feeding the stuff to us directly.
Apocalypse. It’s so much easier in the real world.”December 20, 2012 at 3:48 am #6255

More seriously disturbing weirdness…
Who exactly is this ‘law enforcement official’ that has access to the premier news agency in the country, and on behalf of which state agency does he/she work for?
How did they even know at this point that Ryan had a younger 20-year-old brother when there are no public records of Adam Lanza since 2009 and the two brothers had not seen each other since 2010, as claimed by Ryan? How could they have known on Friday morning that Ryan had a girlfriend and that she and another friend were missing in New Jersey? How did they even know that Ryan had any connection to New Jersey at all? The Lanzas’ mother was dead at this point and their father only found out later through a reporter asking him aboutAdam, who had by then become the ‘lone gunman’ in the official narrative.
Surely the first point on the timeline at which anyone can even begin to discover these things about Ryan is the moment he piped up on Facebook and said “Hi, I’m alive, I didn’t do it, and I live and work down here in New Jersey!” How could ‘law enforcement officials’ have pieced together details of his life but not known that he was actually still alive in the very location where they stated that his girlfriend had gone missing?
The only way they could have found out all this about Ryan Lanza was if they had 100% positively identified him as the ‘dead gunman inside the building’, then worked backwards from there by investigating who his next of kin were, then questioning family members, then discovering where he lived and worked, that he had a girlfriend and that she and a friend were missing, etc.
Such things take time to investigate, especially as they would involve cross-checking with police and other officials in New Jersey. And even before that, somebody there would first have had to receive local reports of two missing people before any connection could be made to the shooting in Connecticut.
Even if we granted these ‘law enforcement officials’ superfast detective powers, they would not have been able to travel back in time to rewrite the script regarding how they knew what they knew about the Lanza brothers, particularly Ryan. Because from the moment the official line was forced to deviate towards saying that Ryan Lanza was no longer the ‘dead shooter inside the building’, it became impossible for these ‘law enforcement officials’ who “weren’t authorised to speak” (but heck, were telling lots of people lots of things that morning anyway, and whose credentials enabled them to speak through the Associated Press and other media outlets) to have retrospectively discovered all these connections of Ryan.
The only logical conclusion I can draw at this stage is that somebody or some group with high-level media access had FOREKNOWLEDGE of the crime, foreknowledge that is revealed by their ‘anonymously’ leaking to the press things which they could not otherwise have known, foreknowledge that exposes their hand in originally planning to use both Lanza brothers as patsies.December 22, 2012 at 7:27 pm #6273Yesterday may have been the end of a four-century cycle for the Mayas but the Mayas of Mexico have more dramatic events to commemorate today: the massacre of 45 citizens, members of the nonviolent Zapatista group Las Abejas (The Bees) or in many cases their children, at the hands of a death squad in 1997. The massacre, which took place during a Catholic mass, is known as the Acteal Massacre. In memory of that heinous act some 40,000 people, nearly all wearing the usual Zapatista black mask, indicating their affiliation, gathered yesterday in silence in the five major towns of Chiapas: Ocosingo, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Palenque, Altamirano and Las Margaritas. Besides a few spontaneous applauses and chants of “vivan los Zapatistas!” or “you are the pride of Mexico!” the protests were made in laconic silence with risen fists.Meanwhile the Center for Human Rights Fray Bartolomé de las Casas (known as Frayba) denounced the impunity given to the criminals who executed the killing. 50 of the 87 participants have been formally set free, while the rest remain at large.December 23, 2012 at 7:27 pm #6275

Within seconds, 11 of the passengers were dead, including a woman and her 7-year-old daughter. A 12-year-old boy also perished that day, and another man later died from his wounds.
The Yemeni government initially said that those killed were al-Qaeda militants and that its Soviet-era jets had carried out the Sept. 2 attack. But tribal leaders and Yemeni officials would later say that it was an American assault and that all the victims were civilians who lived in a village near Radda, in central Yemen. U.S. officials last week acknowledged for the first time that it was an American strike.
“Their bodies were burning,” recalled Sultan Ahmed Mohammed, 27, who was riding on the hood of the truck and flew headfirst into a sandy expanse. “How could this happen? None of us were al-Qaeda.”December 27, 2012 at 1:18 am #6290

Who were those 4 ( possibly 5 ? ) guys ? as yet afaik, unexplained ?
A source outside the mainstream reported on The Word From the Trenches – December 14, 2012 that a message came over her police scanner that stated in reference to Sandy Hook Elementary School, “Tell them the cameras are not working”. Tell who, the Homeland Security Agents running the black op?
An initial report from an eyewitness inside the principal’s office said that the principal, vice principal, and the school psychologist went out into the hall upon hearing gun shots. Three went out and only one came back, who was the vice-principal who had been shot in the leg. The eye witness repeated the assertion that three went out and only one came back in, declaring that the principal and psychologist had been shot to death out in the hall and that is where their bodies were.
The official account we are now hearing is saying the shooter crashed into the principal’s office and killed four people therein, including the principal and the psychologist. This is no small discrepancy considering the eye witness who gave the original account to the mainstream media said she was in a meeting in the office when the shooting occurred.
This is a black op.
Original reports said a maroon van with the back window shot out left the scene with a suspected second shooter therein. It was later reported that the van had been found in the nearby town and that the driver/second shooter had been arrested.
Also around the same time it was reported that another individual wearing camouflage fatigue pants who had ran into the woods had also been arrested. And then, in the blink of an eye, these two arrests became a single arrest of the fellow who had ran into the woods who was declared to be an innocent bystander fleeing the shooting and the maroon van and the third suspect disappeared from reality, just like John Doe number two at the Oklahoma City bombing.
It is now being declared that all the bullets fired were fired inside the school. So who shot the back window out of that maroon van and what became of the van and the fellow who was driving it and was arrested in the nearby town? Don’t look at the man behind the curtain.
This is a black op.
Original reports said the shooter was wearing camouflage pants and a utility vest and then it was black fatigues and an armored vest. Today the two accounts which would indicate two shooters have been morphed into the lone wolf dressed in “black camouflage”.
This is a black op.
Then there is the strange misidentification of the shooter which defies logic in its most basic terms. First reports identified the shooter as a 20 year old and then the name leaked out as Ryan Lanza. The Word From the Trenches was up on the air at this point. #1 NWO Hatr called in with a report from the internet that said Ryan Lanza was on his Facebook declaring that he was on a bus in New Jersey and very much alive and that he is 24 years old. The mainstream media then began reporting the shooter as 24 year old Ryan Lanza.
Approximately an hour later an attempt to cover up this obvious discrepancy was made by authorities, saying that the shooter was actually Ryan Lanza’s younger brother Adam Lanza, who is 20 years old. The contention was that he and his brother had swapped IDs, resulting in the misidentification.
Well let’s look at this on its face. The shooter is dead on the floor. The police remove his identification, which according to original reports said he was 20 years old, which dictates it was Adam’s ID as his brother Ryan’s ID would have identified him as 24 years old. Any other contention defies logic.
This was a black op.
Finally, the security system at Sandy Hook Elementary School is brand new, state of the art, designed to specifically keep anyone with a gun from entering the building. Initial reports said the shooter was “buzzed in” as this would have been the only way he could get in. And now we are told that the shooter just busted right through the security door, apparently without any problem.
If you have been to a school you know the entry doors are not made of glass, in fact there is not even a window. So what new state of the art security system would put a glass door as the only barrier for a shooter wanting to enter the no gun safety zone?
This is a black op.
It was also mentioned by a couple of the participants in the conversation on The Word From the Trenches that all gun free zones must by law have an armed officer within to protect the unarmed people from any armed intruder who breaches the security.
After that, it goes off the rails into some nutty communist conspiracy…December 27, 2012 at 1:52 am #6292December 27, 2012 at 2:49 am #6293

So this may have been one of the unidentified guys at the school ?
“Chris Manfredonia, whose 6-year-old daughter attends the school, was heading there Friday morning to help make gingerbread houses with first-graders when he heard popping sounds and smelled sulfur.
He ran around the school trying to reach his daughter and was briefly handcuffed by police. He later found his child, who had been locked in a small room with a teacher.”
If this is one of the guys the police were chasing? If so, he took quite a detour into the scool knowing that the doors would be locked if there was security.December 27, 2012 at 12:37 pm #6296
Information warfare, in its largest sense, is simply the use of information to achieve our national objectives. Like diplomacy, economic competition, or the use of military force, information in itself is a key aspect of national power and, more importantly, is becoming an increasingly vital national resource that supports diplomacy, economic competition, and the effective employment of military forces. Information warfare in this sense can be seen as societal-level or nation-to-nation conflict waged, in part, through the worldwide internetted and interconnected means of information and communication. […]
Information warfare, in its essence, is about ideas and epistemology- big words meaning that information warfare is about the way humans think and, more important, the way humans make decisions. And although information warfare would be waged largely, but not entirely, through the communication nets of a society or its military, it is fundamentally not about satellites, wires, and computers. It is about influencing human beings and the decisions they make. […]
A major new factor in information war is the worldwide infosphere of television and broadcast news. Information warfare at the strategic level is the “battle off the battlefield” to shape the political context of the conflict. It will define the new “battlespace.” We face an “integrated battlefield,” not in the usual sense of having a global positioning system (GPS) receiver in every tank or cockpit but in the Clausewitzian sense that war is being integrated into the political almost simultaneously with the battle. Many people suspect that the national command authorities (NCA) are in danger of becoming increasingly “reactive” to a “fictive” universe created by CNN, its various international competitors, or even a terrorist with a video camera. This media-created universe we live in is fictive rather than “fictional” because although what we see on CNN is “true,” it is just not the whole, relevant, or contextual truth. Nevertheless, this fictive universe becomes the politically relevant universe in which the government or the armed forces are supposed to “do something.” […]
Fictive or fictional operational environments, then, whether mass-targeted or niche-targeted, can be generated, transmitted, distributed, or broadcast by governments or all sorts of players through increasingly diversified networks. […]
Let us take just one example of how current technologies could be used for strategic-level information warfare. If, say, the capabilities of already well-known Hollywood technologies to simulate reality were added to our arsenal, a genuinely revolutionary new form of warfare would become possible. Today, the techniques of combining live actors with computer-generated video graphics can easily create a “virtual” news conference, summit meeting, or perhaps even a battle that would exist in “effect” though not in physical fact. Stored video images can be recombined or “morphed” endlessly to produce any effect chosen. This moves well beyond traditional military deception, and now, perhaps, “pictures” will be worth a thousand tanks. […]
I call bullshit on this entire Sandy Hook shooting hoax. We are being fed a pack of carefully scripted lies by evil people with a pre-determined agenda. They manufacture our reality, targeting our emotions and gullible nature, in order to advance their political and social agenda. Don’t be deceived. Ask questions, demand answers, and never accept anything at face value that is presented to you on the teLIEvision.December 27, 2012 at 6:41 pm #6297
